Jonathan administration, Mrs. Laurentia Laraba Mallam and her
husband, Pius Mallam, 73, who were kidnapped by gunmen on Monday night in
Kaduna State have been freed, a competent source close to the family confirmed
to SaharaReporters.
The family reportedly
paid an undisclosed sum for ransom before the kidnappers released the couple.
The kidnappers initially demanded a N10million ransom. The couple was kidnapped
at gunpoint while travelling along the Kaduna-Abuja expressway.
