Baby Abandoned In The Bush By Her Mother Rescued By Siv Ngesi

A South African actor Siv Ngesi has rescued a baby abandoned in the bush by her mother. The baby had already been 'eaten' by insects and animals before she got help. Siv Ngesi who shared photos of the baby he rescued after she was abandoned in the bush, tweeted; 

He said "I met this little princess this weekend , she was left in the bushes by her “mother” and she was eaten by insects/animals! But she smiles and laughs nonstop, she stole my heart!"

A Corper Dies After Falling From A Danfo In Lagos

A Law graduate of AAU Akhigbe Nuel Odiase, was reported to have died after falling from a moving Danfo bus along the LASU -Isheri road in Lagos.

The incident happened around 9:45pm on Monday after which he was rushed  immediately to the Alimosho General hospital, Igando, where he was referred to LASUTH.
Unfortunately, he died few hours later.

Actress Rita Edochie Celebrates Birthday - Dedicates It To Atiku

 Madam Rita Edochie whose birthday is today dedicates her Birthday to the PDP presidential candidate in the last presidential election Alhaji Atiku Abubakar. Mrs Rita Edochie further prayed that he reclaims his mandate in court.According to the veteran actress, she is not celebrating because after many years of Independence, Nigeria deserves.

Rita who further stated that Nigerians should be worried about what we are passing through today as she dedicated her birthday to Atiku, added that the most controversial issue at the moment was the presidential election which generated so much heat.

Delta Community Holds SSG Hostage Over Herdsmen’s Attack

Osissa community in the Ndokwa-East Local Government Area of Delta State are currently protesting and holding the Secretary to the State Government, Mr Festus Ovie Agas, and his convoy hostage over the alleged killing of three members of the community by suspected Fulani herdsmen.

The protesters numbering over one thousand intercepted the convoy of the SSG who was traveling to Asaba after spending the weekend with his family in Ughelli at about 6:55am along the Ughelli-Asaba express on Monday.

Sources told our correspondent that other travelers including those going to Onitsha market in Anambra State were also trapped in the protest.

The PUNCH had reported that suspected herdsmen over the weekend repeatedly invaded the agrarian community injuring at least one person.

Oba Ewuare Rides In His Rolls Royce For Thanksgiving




The Oba of Benin, Ewuare II, yesterday, rode in his newly acquired 2016 Rolls Royce Phantom for a thanksgiving service at the Holy Arousa Cathedral located along Akpakpava street in Benin City.

The monarch, who received warm welcome by excited residents -was accompanied by top palace chiefs stepped inside the church shortly after a cow was killed at the entrance. The Holy Aruosa church is believed to have been built in the 15th Century. More photos after the cut.

Petrol Tanker Catches Fire On Lagos-ibadan Expressway

 
A petrol tanker fully loaded with PMS, went up in flames yesterday afternoon at Saapade area of Lagos Ibadan expressway. However, there was no casualty in the accident.
